The Metropolitan Parking Inspection set another record in terms of income from car owners. This was reported by the head of the inspection, Serhiy Dubenko.
In particular:
✅ UAH 670 from paying fines for unpaid parking and for parking with a violation. This money went to the state budget.
✅ UAH 340 in parking fees. This money went to the Kyiv budget.

This distribution of income confirms that most drivers expect that they can try not to pay for parking and not come under the control of parking inspectors.
But the more inspections by inspectors and fines (especially daily ones), the more there will be payments for parking.
And the result of such a load on the wallet of drivers in some cases should be a change in behavior from daily use of the car to its use only for special needs. After all, it will be cheaper to use public transport or a taxi in some cases.
And it is in this way that the ultimate goal of paying for parking by drivers is achieved - this is the reduction of traffic jams and congestion of central streets with cars.
