After a major renovation, a renewed square was opened near the International Exhibition Center on Brovarsky Prospect, which was created in preparation for the Eurovision Song Contest.
"The capital repair work lasted a month. 105 trees and 70 bushes were planted in the park, a living fence was formed, 25 benches and 25 urns were installed, and semi-automatic irrigation was installed to care for the green areas," said Petro Panteleev, deputy head of the KMDA.
He also emphasized that during the renovation, 3600 sq. m. m of lawn, 40 sq. m of metal fence and 775 sq. m of fem covering.
"A new art object has been created - a chameleon formed from a metal frame made of pine cones and entwined with juniper branches," he said.
As part of preparations for the Eurovision Song Contest in the capital, a thousand hanging thermocups for ampelous flowers - plants with drooping shoots - have been installed on lighting poles, and work has already begun on their planting.
"1,5 million hryvnias were spent on arranging the park, including landscaping. It is worth noting that this year "Kyivzelenbud" plans to plant 113 thousand trees and bushes. During the spring, 15 green plants were already planted in the capital," said Petro Panteleev.
