New potatoes: the average price fell to 14 UAH/kg. Due to the active harvest, farmers' selling prices decreased by almost 30% in just one week.
Carrots and onions: The price tag for carrots dropped to 16–18 UAH/kg, and the price of onions fell to 18–25 UAH/kg.
Zucchini and courgettes: Zucchini lost 20% of its value (30–50 UAH/kg), and regular zucchini are sold for approximately 20 UAH/kg.
Pepper "Belozirka": the price fell by 28,57% - to 20–30 UAH/kg.
What has increased in price?
Cucumbers: became the leader in price increases — prices immediately soared by 125% (up to 40–50 UAH/kg).
Tomatoes: The price has also gone up, on average they ask for about 40 UAH per kilogram of tomatoes.

The situation in supermarkets
According to the analytical portal "Minfin", the pricing policy in large retail chains has its own characteristics:
ATB: offers the lowest prices for new potatoes;
Novus: maintains the most favorable price offers for cucumbers;
Silpo: is distinguished by the widest range of varieties and varieties of vegetables.
Fall price forecast: what consumers can expect
Analysts predict that in the summer the cost of vegetables for borscht will remain at a level close to last year, but at the end of the season the expected price decline will be less pronounced. As a result, the average cost of products will remain at 5–15% higher than last year's level.
Key factors influencing the market:
Shifting harvest dates: Spring frosts delayed the ripening of early vegetables, which took longer for expensive imported products to reach the market.
Cost increase: Rising costs for logistics, fuel and energy keep selling prices high.
Weather conditions: Prolonged heat and lack of precipitation have negatively affected the potato harvest. The reduction in production volumes will create the prerequisites for another price jump this fall.
