The Department of Culture of the KMDA continues to hold the position of director of the Kyiv Municipal Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet for Children and Youth, Yuriy Shchura, who is being trial.
Citizen Shchura is accused of misappropriation of the property of a communal institution worth several million hryvnias and forgery of documents. However, he continues to hold on to the chair and even dismisses the creative workers of the theater.
It is not clear why the Department of Culture of the KMDA, which is headed by Diana Popova, is so awestruck by its personnel. Rumor has it that Yuri Shchur gives good returns for officials.
