From July 13 to August 21, the capital's funicular will be closed for annual scheduled repairs, reported the KP "Kyivpastrans", reports Chroniclers.
As part of the repair, in particular, the engine, compressor and thyristor halls will be repaired, the traction cable will be inspected, the contact network will be inspected, the sleepers will be checked and partially replaced, the bodywork will be painted and the doors of the cars will be partially repaired, the pneumatic system of the cars will be inspected and adjusted, and the station lobbies will be ensured to be in proper sanitary condition.
In addition, the cars will undergo static and dynamic tests under increased load.
