The House of the Government of Ukraine (House of the Council of People's Commissars of the Ukrainian SSR) is a 10-story historic skyscraper and the largest administrative building in Kyiv located on the street. Hrushevsky, 12/2, architectural monument. Built in 1936-1938, it became the first object of the new administrative complex in Lypki. Since 1990, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Ukrainian SSR has been located here, and since 1991, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
After the explosion of the Ginzburg Skyscraper, from 1941 to 1954 the building was the tallest skyscraper in Kyiv.
