In connection with the deterioration of weather conditions, specialists of the road maintenance enterprises of the "Kyivavtodor" communal corporation inspect the street and road network and, if necessary, carry out preventive treatment of the road surface to prevent slippery conditions.
In particular, this treatment of the road surface with aggregate materials was carried out on bridges over the Dnipro and on sections of streets with difficult traffic conditions. This was reported in the "Kyivavtodor" CC.
The utility corporation is closely monitoring the situation and, in case of worsening weather conditions and increased precipitation in the form of sleet, will use the necessary amount of equipment to ensure safe driving conditions on the streets and roads of the capital.
We would like to remind you that since November 1, in order to ensure the safety of road traffic in the event of a sharp deterioration in weather conditions, all road maintenance enterprises of the "Kyivavtodor" communal corporation have been transferred to 109-hour duty. Thus, 109 snow plows, 62 salt spreaders, 32 tractors with snow removal equipment, 6 loaders of aggregate materials, 15 snow loaders, as well as XNUMX units of multifunctional equipment, which Kyiv recently received from Germany, are on duty XNUMX hours a day in two shifts.
All enterprises of the corporation have the necessary supply of sprinklers, fuel and lubricants for smooth operation and operational processing of the street and road network in case of snowfall.
