Kyiv invites you to a week of art and culture
A rich program of cultural and artistic events is planned in the capital from August 17 to 23. The Department of Culture of the Kyiv City State Administration has prepared a digest of events for Kyiv residents and guests of the city, including special events dedicated to the National Flag Day of Ukraine and the Independence Day of Ukraine. The city authorities remind of the importance of observing safety measures and paying attention to air raid sirens.
Museums invite you to visit interesting exhibitions and expositions:
- Museum of the History of the City of Kyiv will present the exhibition "From the Beauty of Japan" (until October 25), as well as permanent exhibitions, including "War Diaries".
- Historical and Memorial Museum of Mykhailo Hrushevsky invites you to the exhibition "Georgi Narbut at the Mykhailo Hrushevsky Museum" (until August 23).
- Sholem Aleichem Museum will celebrate August 23 with a literary and musical composition.
- Museum of the Ukrainian Diaspora On August 22, he will conduct an author's tour of the exhibition "I Will Return to My Homeland...", dedicated to the Independence Day of Ukraine.
- National Museum of Decorative Arts of Ukraine will offer master classes for the National Flag Day and Independence Day, as well as the exhibitions "Peace of Heaven and Earth" and "ARS: Ukrainian Embroidery".
- National Museum "Kyiv Art Gallery" On August 23, he will give a lecture about the sixties and a tour of the exhibition "Ilya Repin. Realist and Dreamer."
