Ukrainian public organization KyivPride announced the Equality March, which will take place on Saturday, June 14, in Kyiv. This is an action for the rights, freedom, and equality of LGBTIQ+ people in Ukraine.
About this said on the KyivPride page on Instagram.
It is noted that the gathering for the March will begin at 9:10 a.m., and the location will be announced today by 18:00 p.m.
"We will hold a moment of silence with those who will be there at 9:00. We urge everyone who will be on the road to do so themselves and honor the memory," the organization wrote.
It is noted that the police will ensure law and order during the March.
The organizers urged participants during the March to follow the instructions of volunteers, organizers, and the police, and warned that in the event of an air raid warning, participants would descend in an organized manner to the nearest underpass.
In addition, participants were asked to prepare their own or take free posters from volunteers before the march and take a screenshot of the "shoutouts", which KyivPride will publish on Instagram stories.
It is noted that during the march, it will be possible to take a flag or stickers from volunteers for a donation of any size.
