Residents who were injured as a result of the explosion in the building at 70 Holosiivskyi Avenue will be provided with housing in accordance with the procedure established by law. Appropriate order signed by Kyiv City Mayor Vitaly Klychko.
According to Oleksandr Spasibko, the Deputy Chairman of the KMDA, the specified order determined the amount of 25 million hryvnias for the purchase of apartments for the residents of the specified building.
"The Department of Construction and Housing of the KMDA carried out calculations of the necessary living space. 21 apartments for residents will be purchased on condition of voluntary transfer of destroyed housing to the Department," explained Oleksandr Spasibko.
He added that all issues related to housing for the victims are a priority for the city authorities and will be resolved as soon as possible.
We will remind that on July 8, 2017, an explosion occurred in a residential building at 70 Holosiivskyi Avenue. This building is under the administration of the district state administration in Kyiv. There are 17 apartments in the building, 5 of which are public apartments, where 68 citizens are registered.
The construction laboratory of KP "Kyivzhitlospeseksploatsiya" carried out an examination of the technical condition of the load-bearing and enclosing structures of the building. According to the inspection report, the structures are in an emergency condition. In this regard, the operation of the building is impossible, and the restoration of the building based on the composition of the existing building structures is impractical. Therefore, a decision was made to evict the residents.
