Due to the massive night attack by the Russian Federation on the capital, road traffic has been partially blocked in several areas of the city. The changes were announced by the First Deputy Head of the Patrol Police Department, Oleksiy Biloshitsky. Debris removal and repair work are underway at the sites of impacts and falling debris.
Where in Kyiv is traffic blocked for cars?
Patrol police have restricted traffic in the following areas:

Solomyansky district: Brativ Zerovykh St. (from the intersection with Preobrazhenskaya St. to Maksym Kryvonos Avenue);

Obolonsky district: Berezhanska St. (from the intersection with Luhova St. to Polyarna St.);

Obolon / Vinogradar: roundabout from Miska Street in the direction of Soshenka Street, as well as to Pushcha-Vodytska and Vyshgorodska Streets;

Pechersk district: intersection of Tsitadelna and Ivan Mazepa streets (near the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra);
-
Desnyan district: Vasyl Ivanys St. (from the intersection with Kubanska Ukrainy St. to Milyutenko St.).
How is public transport? (Temporary changes)
Due to damage to electric transport contact networks and blockages on the roads, Kyivpastrans has temporarily changed a number of routes:
Trams

No. 12 and No. 19: They run according to a shortened schedule: from the Kontraktova Ploshcha metro station only to the Podilsky tram depot (there is no service to Pushcha-Vodytsia).

№17: traffic has been suspended. Instead, temporary buses have been launched on the route: Yordanska St. - Semena Sklyarenko St.
Trolleybuses

No. 6 and No. 18: They go from Independence Square only to European Union Avenue.

№32: runs from Pivtsynnaya Street only to the Minska metro station.

№33: runs from the South Station to the European Union Avenue.

№38: The route is shortened, it runs only to Yevhena Konovaletsa Street.

No. 28 and No. 31: They only reach the Air Force overpass.
Buses

No. 24 and No. 25: temporarily run on a shortened route - only to Slavy Square.
Context of events: We will remind you that during the night shelling in Kyiv on June 15, 4 people were killed and over 25 were injured. Debris and direct hits caused large-scale destruction in several areas: dozens of cars burned down, a 9-story residential building in Obolon was damaged, the Nova Poshta terminal was completely destroyed, and the Assumption Cathedral of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra and the Dovzhenko Film Studio were damaged.
Passengers and drivers are urged to take these restrictions into account in advance when planning trips around the city.
