Next year, KMDA plans to present in each of the districts an exemplary park like Natalka Park in Obolon. Mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko announced this on the air of the TV channel "Kyiv".
Commenting on the revival of iconic places in the capital, Vitaliy Klitschko noted that one of them is Natalka Park in Obolon, which they wanted to build. The mayor emphasized that "Natalka" today is an exemplary park, and the same concept will be implemented during the reconstruction or creation of other green areas of the capital.
"We still need to organize 7 hectares of the second phase of Natalka." But next year, we have plans to open 10 more renovated parks in all districts of the capital," said Vitaliy Klitschko.
In particular, we are talking about Rylsky Park, Partizanska Slava Park, Shukhevich Park, Pechersky Landscape Park, Kurenivsky Park, Sovki Park, Vidradny Park, and Syretsky Park.
"Also, we plan to create a new park in Troeshchyna and complete repairs in some other parks of the capital. I have been to many cities, but no city has such a large number of parks and green areas as in Kyiv. 120 parks and squares! But, unfortunately, not all of them are in good condition. Our task is to make sure that we are proud to live in a park city," the mayor emphasized.
Vitaliy Klitschko noted that the reconstruction or overhaul of the park is not only greening of the territory, but also the installation of lighting, water supply systems and video surveillance.
