Mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko opened the first stage of a new park in the Troye region. The park was created in the Desnyan district - along General Vatutin Avenue between Honore de Balzac Street and Mayakovsky Avenue.
"While it's still warm, we don't stop work on arranging the capital's green areas. And today we are opening the first stage of another one planned for this year - a new park in Troeshchyna. There used to be thickets on the site of the newly created park, so before the work began, the area was cleared, the landscape was leveled, and part of the trees were transplanted. And we can see how beautiful and comfortable the recreation area is now. And how many people are already coming here," said the mayor. The second stage of the park is planned to open next year.
The total area of the new park will reach 9,5 hectares. Today, they presented the arranged first row of 2,3 hectares.
In the new park, modern benches, trash cans, energy-saving LED lighting, navigation signs and an irrigation system were installed. Landscaping of the territory was carried out. Also, in the recreation area, walking paths made of fiber concrete and FEM, bicycle paths were installed. The lake was cleared and the shore was strengthened.
There is a playground for sports and a gazebo in the new recreation area. And two playgrounds were installed for the little ones. They also built a gardener's house with a toilet and renovated a dovecote next to the park.
Many local residents came to the opening of the new recreation area. And at each of the locations of the park, children and teenagers organized a dance flash mob.
The cost of the capital repair of the park with water objects is UAH 48 million.
Vitaliy Klitschko noted that this year alone, the capital authorities have allocated a record sum of more than UAH 200 million for the renovation of parks and squares.
We will remind you that this year in the capital, after a major overhaul, the first part of the renovated Volodymyr Hill Park in the center of the city was opened before the Day of the City. Subsequently, the park "Vidradny" in the Solomyansky district, the first stage of the park "Peremoga" in the Dnipro district, the square in Podil near the cinema "Zhovten" and the second stage of the park "Natalka" in Obolon. The first row of the Muromets park in the Desnyan district was also arranged and a sculpture of Ilya Muromets was installed in it. Syretsky Park in the Shevchenkiv district of the capital was renovated.
