The Lukyanivska metro station in Kyiv has reopened to passengers after being temporarily closed due to overnight Russian shelling. The resumption of work was announced by the Kyiv Metro.
In the morning, the station had to be closed due to damage to the ground lobby caused by the blast wave. At that time, trains on the Syretsko-Pechersk (the "green") line passed through Lukyanivska without stopping.
The metro is currently operating normally.
As reported, on the night of July 19, Kyiv experienced one of the most massive ballistic attacks. The strike killed one person and injured 17 others.

Station operation: Municipal services quickly closed the lobby windows damaged by the blast wave with plywood sheets and removed dust from the ventilation system, which allowed the metro to resume full operation. Trains on the Syretsko-Pechersk line are stopping at the station again.

Changes for pedestrians: Because the missile hit an underpass near the station, it was temporarily blocked. For the safety of citizens, traffic services have installed a temporary ground pedestrian crossing on Yuriy Ilyenko Street.
