Ukrtelecom has completed large-scale works on the construction of a high-speed transmission line with a data transmission speed of up to 10 Gb/c, as well as the reconstruction of the cable sewer near the Central Metropolitan Department Store (hereinafter - TSUM) to provide telecom services to tenants and visitors of the country's first department store.
Ukrtelecom services are available on all floors of the building, including -1. Currently, department store management and more than 40% of the largest stores have already connected to high-speed optical Internet from Ukrtelecom.
"Ukrtelecom and the Kyiv City Center have been partners for decades. Before the start of reconstruction in 2012, the operator provided telephony and ADSL Internet services to the department store. Now, we are ready to implement additional modern solutions for the Center of Central Ukraine, which will help its team to make their daily work more efficient." - stressed Mykola Davydenko, director of development of the corporate segment of PJSC "Ukrtelecom".
"Reliability of communications is of particular importance to us. Not only the quality of Internet services that are provided free of charge to all visitors depends on them, but also the operation of a complex department store management system, which we were the first in Ukraine to implement in the Center. The solution, which was built by Ukrtelecom, meets all our requirements. I think that visitors to the department store today will be able to independently evaluate not only the best service provided by the Center, but also high-quality Internet from Ukrtelecom." - noted Mykhailo Sakun, development director of the ESTA Holding company, head of the Central Shopping Center reconstruction project.
The grand opening of the Center is planned for December 3-4, 2016. Today, the project works in the "soft opening" format.
Ukrtelecom specialists have experience in implementing various projects for shopping and entertainment centers throughout Ukraine. One of the latest examples is the design and construction of an external optical network for the largest shopping center in Western Ukraine - "Victoria Gardens", which is located in Lviv.
