The renovated theater No. 4 in the Oscar cinema (in the Gulliver shopping center) became the first hall not only in Ukraine, but also in Eastern Europe, where the Barco Laser Flagship high-contrast laser HDR projector was installed. Saturation and expanded palette, bright and high-quality 3D create a real WOW-effect for the viewer.
And the renovated hall became the first hall in Ukraine certified for showing films in the EclairColor format. In addition, it is equipped with a unique MAG THOR cinema subwoofer. This is the only subwoofer in the world that works in the frequency range from 18 Hz with a power of 5000 tons, which allows the viewer not only to hear, but also to feel the sound effects.
"Oscar" became the first cinema in Ukraine to install a MAG THOR subwoofer. At the moment, there are only a few cinemas in the world with such a sound level, one of them is the Village Cinemas cinema in Athens, which won the nomination "The best reconstructed hall in the world - 2018" according to the version of ICTA (International Cinema Technology Association) in Las Vegas .
The subwoofer was developed and created by the Ukrainian company MAG Audio - the largest manufacturer of professional sound systems for cinema-concert complexes in Eastern Europe, located in the city of Bila Tserkva (Kyiv region).
Also, in the updated hall, DANA solution technology from MAG Audio is implemented - a solution that transmits 5.1 / 7.1 sound effects without using a Dolby processor or any other sound processor in the cinema. The project of technical equipment of the hall was implemented by the largest cinema integration company in Europe - CinemaNext.
