The utility company "Kyiv Center for the Development of the Urban Environment" has been identified as the client of the works.
Thus, the utility company must ensure the adjustment, examination and approval of the design documentation in the established order, determine the general design and subcontractor construction organization for the design and implementation of works on the reconstruction of the "Kyoto" park.
"Japan's best landscape architect Shiro Nakane, at the request of Kyoto Mayor Daisaku Kadokawa and Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klychka, with the support of the Japanese company JTI, will take on the honorable mission to develop a project of a Japanese garden and a rock garden in Kyoto Park in the Desnyan district of Kyiv," - Oleksandr Spasybko, Deputy Chairman of the KMDA, said.
He added that the developed project of the landscape park will be presented to the public and agreed with the residents of Kyiv. Kyiv residents and guests of the capital will be able to appreciate the work done and have a good time at the Japan Days in Ukraine festival, which is scheduled to be held in May 2017.
"We are grateful to the leadership of the city of Kyoto and are interested in those projects that popularize cultural heritage and allow us to create high-quality barrier-free spaces in our city," said Oleksandr Spasibko.
In addition, the Department of Urban Planning and Architecture is instructed to submit investment proposals to the Department of Economy and Investments regarding the inclusion of works in the economic and social development programs of the city of Kyiv for 2017 and subsequent years.
The work will be carried out at the expense of the budget of the city of Kyiv and the funds involved.
