Due to the critical condition of the Yevhen Paton Bridge, road workers have begun urgent technical work. According to official data, the restrictions will last until May 14, XNUMX GMT+XNUMX.
Where exactly will traffic be restricted? The main works are focused on the first lane of traffic towards the Right Bank. In addition to the partial closure of the lane, strict weight restrictions are in place:

Prohibition for vehicles with an axle load of more than 7 tons.

Total mass limit for single cars — 17 tons.
Despite the renovation, the general scheme (2 lanes on the left bank and 3 on the right) remains unchanged for now. However, Kyiv residents are advised to choose Darnytskyi Bridge or Metro Bridge to avoid delays.
- We remind you that the bridge has been in a state of disrepair for a long time, and these "cosmetic" repairs are only supporting measures until a full reconstruction.
