On November 16, from 14:00 p.m. to 16:00 p.m., the Ukrainian House will host a social partnership forum on the topic: "Development of the career guidance system: from idea to implementation." This was reported by the Kyiv Youth Center, which is the initiator of the event.
The forum is timed to World Youth Day in order to support the democratic youth movement for peace and labor rights.
"52% of young people do not work according to their profession. Such disappointing statistics are the result of an insufficiently developed career guidance system. The Kyiv Youth Center decided to discuss the problem with employers, the public and state bodies in order to improve the situation," said Anna Kutsenko, director of the Kyiv Youth Center.
During the event, there will be speeches and lectures by honored guests: representatives of state authorities and local self-government, specialized institutes, parents' committees, educational institutions, employers and scientists.
As part of the event, strategic and priority directions for the development of professional orientation, coordination of efforts and implementation of foreign experience will be discussed. Innovative career guidance programs will be presented.
The forum is a platform for the exchange of experience in the field of professional guidance between employers, the public and state bodies. As the Kyiv Youth Center reports, this is, first of all, an opportunity to discuss ways to improve professional orientation with public organizations, workers in the field of education and career guidance.
