"The minimum air temperature in the capital turned out to be the warmest for this day, because the temperature did not drop below +10,4 °C. The previous record value of 2017 was exceeded by 0,4 °C," the message reads.
At the same time, the maximum air temperature reached +24,6 °C, breaking by 4,3 °C the previous record of the indicator recorded on this day in 2016.
In addition, the average daily air temperature turned out to be the highest during the observation period for this day and amounted to +17,3 °C, which exceeded the previous record of 2021 by 3,2 °C, and the climatic norm - by 10,4 °C.
"According to long-term indicators, this air temperature corresponds to the end of May," the observatory noted.
