The sixth annual summit "Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit 2024" will be held on June 12-13 in Warsaw (EXPO XXI). It is expected that, as last year, about 10 participants from more than 80 countries will be guests. Ukrainian students of IT and technical specialties are provided with free tickets.
A place for discussions
Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit will once again be a place of discussion, ahead of the topics usually discussed at technology conferences.
We will remind: the summit itself was the first large-scale event in Poland that had a positive impact on the climate - the organizers of the conference from 2022 take into account, reduce and compensate for greenhouse gas emissions associated with the event. This year, they will be the first to actively join the wetland restoration program.
Facts about PWiTS
A few facts about PWiTS:
- The event will take place for the sixth time, will last two intensive days on five stages and will include sixty master classes.
- Quantum computing, human-machine interaction, neurodiversity, data science, artificial intelligence and machine learning, deep technologies, cloud solutions, digital ecology and cyber security are the key topics that will be discussed, although the list is much broader.
- The summit will bring together more than 10 female students, specialists and leaders from the world of new technologies.
- Top 500 industry experts and top 100 technology companies volunteered to participate.
- A huge Career Fair with many attractive vacancies and industry networking will take place here!
Over the past few years, the Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit has become the largest event for women in IT@Tech in Europe and Asia. In the professional environment, the event is perceived as a permanent meeting place for C-level people, professionals and students of new technologies. Every year during PWiTS, the organizers announce the TOP-100 list, the best female experts specializing in various fields of technology, science and innovation (AI, cloud computing, 5G, cyber security). In 2024, the topic of the TOP-100 will be data science.

The PWiTS conference is non-commercial - for female students of technical and exact specialties, information technologies from Poland and Ukraine, free tickets are provided through the form for women below.
This year, as last year, we want to support women from Ukraine, so the organizers give the opportunity to women who work in IT/Tech, study IT courses or want to start a career in this field, are looking for opportunities to develop and build a network of contacts, to the first steps in this direction, attend the conference for free.

A special guest at the Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit will be Gitanjali Rao, a young inventor, author and inspirational conversationalist promoting STEM globally. In 2020, G.Rao was recognized by TIME magazine as Child of the Year for her inventions and the STEM workshops she conducted.
Among her inventions:
- Kindly, an anti-cyberbullying app;
- Tetyda, an innovative tool for detecting lead contamination in drinking water;
- Epione, a device for the early diagnosis of opioid dependence.
She was named Forbes 30 Under 30 in Science (2019), Top Young Innovator and 2021 UNICEF Young Advocate at the Dubai World Expo (for using science to solve social problems), and the Muhammad Award Ali Humanitarian and Martin Luther King Jr. for selfless service to refugee students. She is also the author of the book "The Young Innovator's Guide to STEM", which has been translated into 6 languages. Rao is currently a first-year student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Fundacja Edukacyjna Perspektywy (Educational Foundation Perspektywy) is a well-known non-profit organization that unites and supports women in technology, science and innovation in Europe and Central Asia, and cooperates with more than 100 of the largest technology companies and the best technical universities in Poland.
The organization hosts a number of inspiring events for young women in technology and science: IT for SHE, LeaderSHEp Academy, Shesnnovation Academy, Dziewczyny do nauki!, Dziewczyny w grze, as well as a scholarship program for female students studying computer science, "Nowe technologie dla dziewczyn".
Female students from Ukraine who will start studying STEM this year in Poland can apply for the last program.
The foundation incorporates a mentoring element into most events because it believes in the value of such relationships – when people with experience want to share it with girls who have potential. For 17 years, the organization has supported girls in choosing technical and IT fields within the framework of the largest Polish campaign Dziewczyny na politechniki! i Dziewczyny do ściślych!
