Kyiv is gradually moving towards the development of the startup ecosystem and the implementation of the concept of a smart city. And although the city faces many challenges, the first initiatives are already working in this direction. Such are, for example, the electronic petition service, the "Open Budget of the City of Kyiv" project, and Prozorro public procurement.
In the capital, the launch of an educational IT project was presented, the purpose of which is to teach programming to schoolchildren for free in the format of an IT elective. The program will start in Kyiv school No. 61 in a test mode with the prospect of further spreading to the entire city.
