This performance is the theater's second turn to the material. In 1981, directed by V. Ogloblin and performed by actors V. Ivchenko and S. Oleksenko, it was one of the brightest and highest-grossing performances in the repertoire.
The queue for tickets stretched from the Khreschatyk metro station, and the performance itself was performed more than 700 times. Today, the Italian comedy returned to the theater stage.
