The temporary control commission of the Kyiv City Council on issues of support for the citizens of Kyiv participating in the anti-terrorist operation approved a draft decision on the creation of the Kyiv City Center for the provision of services to combatants.
The center will be located in the building of the city hall on the street. Khreshchatyk, 36. It is assumed that he will help ATO participants in receiving benefits, providing social guarantees, treatment, adaptation, and rehabilitation. It is also planned that the relevant city center will assist the participants in the hostilities in employment, professional training, retraining, qualification improvement, etc.
"The Kyiv City State Administration has 115 rooms. Today, it is an information center providing consultations to ATO participants. We are actually absorbing this center. Also, each district social protection center will have a representative from this center who will monitor the registry and provide appropriate services to ATO participants. The needs of our heroes will also be determined there. In particular, they will compile a list of fighters who need prosthetics, rest in sanatoriums, and a solution to the apartment or land issue. Attention will also be focused on the psychological rehabilitation of Atosh residents," Yuriy Didovets, head of the TCC on issues of support for Kyiv residents participating in the ATO, said.
"The center will unite all the participants in the hostilities. He will also cooperate with district volunteer organizations, public organizations of ATO participants, etc. After the fighter addressed such a center with his question, the center will redirect the problem to the relevant departments, which will actually implement the assigned tasks. That is, in fact, the departments are the executors of the orders," explains Oles Malyarevich, a member of the TCC responsible for the provision of Kyiv citizens participating in the anti-terrorist operation.
The corresponding draft decision should also be considered by the Kyiv City Council's standing commissions on property issues and budget and socio-economic development issues.
