As a result of the heavy downpour that hit Kyiv, 76 fallen and 86 damaged trees were recorded in the city. 92 employees of district "greenhouses" and 13 rescuers of KARS (Kyiv Emergency Rescue Service) are working to eliminate the consequences of the bad weather, and 21 units of special equipment have been involved.
KARS rescuers are clearing roads, tram tracks, and roadways, clearing power lines, and unblocking cars. In particular, tram tracks in Pushcha-Vodytsa, passages in the Holosiivskyi district, and one of the central highways in Obolon have already been cleared.
Green management workers are strengthening trees, removing debris, and clearing away wood and branches. Work continues throughout the city.
