After a long pause, equipment has started working again on Beresteysky Avenue. One of the largest long-term construction projects in the capital, the Sky Towers multifunctional complex, is being prepared for completion.

Key facts about the resumption of work

According to the head of the Public Council under the Kyiv City State Administration, Gennady Kryvosheya, construction workers have been active at the site. Local residents have also reported increased activity at the site in recent weeks.

Currently, the facility is conducting:

  • delivery of necessary building materials;

  • landscaping and restoration of the site's infrastructure;

  • preparatory work on the roof of the stylobate part of the complex.

Change of ownership and transaction value

The impetus for unfreezing the project was its sale in early April 2026. According to available information, the complex with two towers was sold for an amount of about 500 million UAH.

The new owner is a company associated with Mykola Zlochevsky (former Minister of Ecology). The builders officially involved in the work confirm that the decision to complete the construction was made immediately after the change of investor.

Certificate: Sky Towers is one of the most ambitious commercial real estate projects in Kyiv, the construction of which stopped back in 2015. For a long time, the complex remained a symbol of the crisis in the capital's real estate market.

Editorial comment

The resumption of construction on this scale could be a significant signal for the city's investment climate, but the public will closely monitor compliance with urban planning regulations and the transparency of project financing.
