Work on ensuring free access for people with disabilities continues in the Kyiv metro. Thus, additional handrails have been installed at the stations "Palace Sportu", "Pecherska", "Lev Tolstoy Square", "Kontraktova Plosha", "Lybidska", "Klovska", "Petrivka". The Polytechnic Institute metro station was equipped with two ramps.
Also, 28 warning stripes are applied on the first and last steps of the 3 interchange nodes.
We would like to remind you that for the guidance of people with visual and hearing impairments in the subway, all entrances to the stations are equipped with sound guides, and in the lobbies of the transfer stations there are maps-schemes with Braille font. In addition, the metro staff organizes escort for passengers with disabilities.
