Today, December 24, employees of the Investigative Department of the Main Department of the National Police of Ukraine in the city of Kyiv are conducting searches in the municipal enterprise "Kyivmisksvitlo".

Investigative actions are carried out within the framework of criminal proceedings regarding the possible involvement of officials of the utility company in exceeding the costs of capital repairs of outdoor lighting networks in the period 2023-2024.
We emphasize that currently only a pre-trial investigation is being conducted with the aim of identifying and recording alleged offenses.
We would like to remind you that in 2023-2024, on the order of "Kyivmisksvitlo", project and cost documentation was developed for capital repairs of outdoor lighting networks in the capital. The documentation received a positive expert report and was approved in accordance with the established procedure.
All tender procedures took place in accordance with the legislation. Estimated payments were made exclusively according to the acts of completed works and after confirming the results of examinations. In addition, before payment to the contractor, the acts of the completed work passed a state examination.
As the company notes, taking into account that part of the contracts for 2024 have not yet been completed, the conduct of investigative actions, namely searches with the seizure of original documents for this period, hinders the activities of the utility company and the completion of the Program of Economic and Social Development of Kyiv for this year.
However, "Kyivmisksvitlo" employees cooperate with law enforcement agencies and count on the objectivity and impartiality of the investigation.
In its activities, this enterprise is subordinated to Kyivavtodor LLC, which has been managed by Oleksandr Fedorenko since May 19, 2020 (until July 5, 2022, he headed it as acting general director). This utility corporation is subordinate to the Department of Transport Infrastructure of KMDA, which is headed by Ruslan Kandybor from September 1, 2021. The activity of the department of the capital's mayor's office has been personally supervised by the head of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko for more than a year.
