Since 6 o'clock in the morning, it has been snowing again in Kyiv, so "Kyivavtodor" enterprises are working in an intensified mode. 334 units of snow removal equipment and 52 manual cleaning crews work on the city's roads and streets. This was reported in the utility corporation.
Salt spreaders were deployed on the capital's roads to prevent the formation of ice and snowdrifts. First of all, processing with aggregate materials was carried out on streets with difficult traffic conditions, bridges, overpasses, descents and ascents, as well as streets used by public transport.
After processing with anti-icing materials, the relay of work on city roads was taken over by machinery with snow removal equipment.
Small-sized equipment and manual cleaning crews carry out treatment with aggregate materials and snow removal of approaches to surface and underground pedestrian crossings, stairwells, sidewalks, and public transport stops that serve the enterprises of "Kyivavtodor".
According to the Ukrhydrometeorological center, it will snow in the capital throughout the day.
Accordingly, the Kyiv company "Kyivavtodor" will not stop the work on cleaning the streets and roads from snow.
Taking into account the weather conditions, "Kyivavtodor" appeals to drivers: to be attentive and careful on the roads, to follow the Traffic Rules and not to leave their cars on the sides of the streets and roads, so as not to interfere with the work of snow removal equipment.
