The 15th modern stadium equipped with the use of modern technologies was solemnly presented in Sviatoshyn district. More than 100 young football players took part in its opening.
"Every third school in our district has a sports stadium built using modern technologies. And today we present the 15th. Built last year in general education institution No. 72 as part of the Kyiv Economic and Social Development Program, it has a comfortable playground, a drainage system, a synthetic covering and a fence," said Volodymyr Karetko, head of the Svyatoshyn District State Administration.
The experience was shared with the young football players by the honored coach of the USSR, the honored coach of Ukraine, Volodymyr Muntyan, who during his sports career, together with Oleg Blokhin, became the champion of the USSR 7 times (which is a record of Soviet football), won the USSR Cup twice, is the owner of the Cup UEFA Cups and the UEFA Super Cup, a participant in the 1970 World Cup.
The opening of the stadium took place within the framework of the football tournament "Sviatoshynski Nadiya", which will last from April 14 to May 19 between 38 teams of the Sviatoshyn district and in which more than 500 children will participate.
