Ukrainian exporters have gained new opportunities to operate in the Moldovan market. Thanks to the signing of five international certificates, the procedures for supplying a number of agricultural products have been significantly simplified.
In particular, Ukraine can now export live snails and their caviar.
RegioNews reports about it Derzhprodspozhivservice.
The new agreements pave the way for the supply of goods that previously had more difficult barriers to import. In particular, the list includes:
- Meat processing products: Rendered animal fats, greaves, meat extracts and other poultry meat products (according to a special MPNT-POU certificate).
In addition to the new items, the parties have updated a number of existing certificates. This guarantees the unhindered export of the following categories:
- Fresh poultry meat and semi-finished meat products.
- Animal feed of plant origin.
Simplifying certification allows Ukrainian producers to pass customs control faster and reduces the bureaucratic burden. For small and medium-sized farms, especially those engaged in niche businesses (such as snail farms), this is a real chance to expand the sales market during the war.
