Today, the 60-day period from the date of entry into force of the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to liquidate the Ministry of Strategic Industry and Trade expired. Accordingly, from September 25, 2025, the latter agency will cease to exercise its functions and powers.
It is emphasized that the successor of the functions, powers, property, rights and obligations of the Ministry of Strategic Industry is the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Previously, the government eliminated the position of minister of the Cabinet of Ministers. Now, at the government meeting on personnel issues, the Prime Minister or, on the Prime Minister's instructions, the State Secretary of the Cabinet of Ministers reports.
