“During the conversation, the woman said that she was going through a severe emotional crisis due to the betrayal of her husband, with whom she had been in a long-term relationship. She admitted that she no longer saw a way out of the situation and intended to do something irreparable. The operator of the “102” hotline, Iryna Yanchuk, listened carefully to the interlocutor and was able to find words of support that helped the woman refuse the fatal decision. The Kyiv resident thanked the operator for the sincere conversation and support,” the report says.

A response team crew was dispatched to the address. Law enforcement officers quickly arrived at the scene and made sure that the woman's life was not in danger.
