The Kyiv City Investment Forum, which will be held on September 17, 2019 at the Art Arsenal, will focus on the strategy for the creation and development of the Kyiv agglomeration.
The forum will bring together international and Ukrainian investors, representatives of foreign municipalities, local self-government bodies, Kyiv business, creative and IT communities. Forum participants will discuss the potential of the capital and Kyiv region as a whole, as well as give recommendations on how to turn the Kyiv agglomeration into an ultra-modern metropolis - a place of attraction for investors, tourists and innovative entrepreneurs.
"Given the popularity of urban event tourism in the world, the Kyiv agglomeration has the potential to become one of the centers of Europe in holding various festivals and art events, in gastrotourism, in the field of creative economy. Our goal is to create a Greater Kyiv brand, like, for example, the world-famous Greater London," Kyiv Mayor Vitaly Klychko said.
Special guests of the Investment Forum will be representatives of the political elite and foreign municipalities from different parts of the world, who will share their experience.
The event includes panel discussions with the participation of leading industry experts on Kyiv's social identity and creative economy for the future agglomeration, as well as infrastructural solutions for the development of the metropolis of the future. Attention will also be paid to potential catalysts for the development of tourism in the metropolis, which can be cultural, musical and sports events.
The Investment Forum of the City of Kyiv 2019 is an event that will be a kind of signal for unification and mutually beneficial inter-municipal cooperation to speed up the socio-economic development of all involved communities.
Last year's Kyiv Investment Forum took place on November 27 and gathered more than 500 participants from 23 countries. In particular, representatives of business, the investment community, representatives of central and city authorities, international financial institutions and mass media. During the forum, 30 city projects were presented to attract investments in various areas of innovative activity.
