Starting July 15, fares for public transport in the capital will be updated. A single trip on the metro, bus, trolleybus, tram and funicular will cost 30 UAH instead of the current 8 hryvnias.
The Kyiv City State Administration explains: the city tariff has not been revised since 2018, while the real cost of transporting one passenger in the metro already exceeds 60 hryvnias. Even after the price revision, the city will continue to partially subsidize the transport industry from the city budget.

Use a transfer ticket: A new one is planned to be launched in the capital starting in August. a ticket for 90 minutes worth 60 hryvniasIt will allow for unlimited transfers between different modes of public transport for a year and a half (90 minutes) after the first validation.
Thanks to the new transfer ticket, passengers who travel with several transfers (for example: bus\Metro\trolleybus), you will no longer have to pay for each mode of transport separately - the main thing is to stay within 90 minutes from the start of the route.
