The salary may vary depending on the city, employer, and additional benefits.

There are many professions in Ukraine with low levels of wages. Most often, these are unskilled or low-paid professions that do not require higher education, significant experience or special skills. Workers in such areas usually receive a salary that is only slightly above or within the minimum threshold. This is stated in the material of the publication “RBC-Ukraine” citing data from the State Employment Service.

So, the lowest salaries in 2025 are:

  • janitors — average salary approximately 8–000 UAH;
  • cleaners of office premises - salary ranges from 8–500 UAH;
  • kitchen workers and dishwashers - receive from 8 UAH, depending on the region;
  • boiler room operators — on average 9–000 UAH;
  • postmen - approximately 9 UAH, and in villages - even less;
  • wardrobe assistants - their salary does not exceed 9 UAH.

These are just some of the worst-paid specialties. However, it is worth noting that the salary may vary depending on the city, employer, and additional benefits. If a person wants to change their profession or find options with better conditions, it is worth using official resources for job search. One of them is the “Single Vacancy Portal”, which combines data from the State Employment Service and the largest job search sites.

As of February 2025, the portal has over 215 vacancies with salaries ranging from 8 to over 200 hryvnias. This means that the labor market in Ukraine remains quite active, and even in difficult economic conditions, people have the opportunity to find a job with a higher income.

However, there are opportunities for better employment - you need to monitor the job market and consider options for improving your skills.
