Mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko inspected the exhibition of special equipment of the "Kyivavtodor" KK, which will work on the streets of the city in the winter period.
The general director of "Kyivavtodor" Oleksandr Gustelev presented to the mayor some of the special equipment that the company has - 130 units of equipment for snow removal, asphalt pavement repair, construction works, road marking, etc. In particular, samples of world-famous manufacturers were presented: "SCHMIDT", "BUCHER", "CRAFCO", "Hofmann", "LineLazer", "Wirtgen", "VOGELE", "MAN", "Mercedes".
According to Vitaly Klitschko, Kyiv purchased almost 2015 units of the latest road equipment for road repair and maintenance in 2017-100 alone. In addition, by personal agreement of the mayor, the capital received from Germany 17 units of multifunctional snow removal equipment "MAN" and "Mercedes". At the same time, "Kyivavtodor" specialists carry out major repairs of old equipment that can still work effectively on the streets.
"Kyivavtodor" has prepared 345 units of snow removal equipment for the winter season. Communal management companies in the districts prepared 335 units of equipment: 195 tractors and 140 units of small mechanization. In case of prolonged snowfalls, 159 contracts were concluded for the involvement of auxiliary cleaning equipment of organizations.
The city has also accumulated a sufficient supply of bulk materials. In particular, 38 thousand tons of salt (103%) and more than 41 thousand tons of sand (108%).
"The capital's road workers are ready to maintain and clean the road network in the winter period. Kyiv prepared for possible snowfalls. And when they begin, we will work quickly and efficiently to ensure the vitality of our city," the mayor emphasized in his comments to journalists.
During his visit to the exhibition, Vitaliy Klitschko presented more than 30 letters of thanks from the mayor to the employees of the "Kyivavtodor" divisions on the occasion of the Day of motorists and road workers. As last year, the mayor presented 12 of the best employees of the capital SHEU with certificates for a vacation in Egypt.
"We found an opportunity, attracted travel companies, and the best employees of "Kyivavtodor" - specialists who work on the roads in heat and cold - will go to rest in Egypt with their families. Those who work well should also rest well," Vitaliy Klitschko emphasized.
